Pho And Baguette - Alameda

My wife and I recently traveled to Vietnam, and since then, we have been craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. This restaurant offers some of the best Vietnamese food I've had, likely the finest in the Bay Area. I just wish it were closer to my home because I would definitely visit often. I highly recommend trying the Banh Mi, summer rolls, and iced coffee.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I’m glad I did! The staff is wonderful and it’s family-owned. The prices are reasonable, and the menu has a nice variety of options. You can choose between takeout or dining in, although there isn’t any outdoor seating available. A plus is that there’s a parking lot for convenience. Overall, the food was fresh and delicious!

I had the Bahn Mi sandwich with chicken. It’s the biggest Vietnamese sandwich I have had. Very tasty, full of flavor. Lots of veggies and good bread! I hate when people say this place is not authentic. Authentic to me means it’s supposed be exactly like Vietnam. No, it’s not and it doesn’t have to be. It’s good as it is. The spring rolls were amazing too. I will be back because the food is great and the vibe is cool. Great service. Oh and the garlic noodles will know you out with how garlicky they are!

Just ate here and am pleasantly plump. First off, the pork fries are amazing. Super good, sweet and tangy with the perfect amount of fat. crispy fries and super additive. I also had the garlic noodles which were garlicky but, not too spicy or hard to eat. My 3 year said the food was awesome. Also got a couple bahn mi to go for tomorrow's lunch. We go to crab cove often in the summer and we'll also be eating more Pho Baguette.
