Great service and selection of fine fiods. Drinks reasonable priced and good selection. We will be back.

The Swallowed Anchor, right in the heart of Wollongong, is a warm, friendly place to eat and have a drink. I've been there twice now and am looking forward to going back again. The first time we sampled the great tapas menu. The second time we just had a drink after the Eat Street markets on a Thursday night.Annah and Ryan provide a friendly and welcoming service. Highly recommended.

Great food. Great service, very polite and knowledgable. Had a variety of vegetarian options. Went on a busy Friday night and was served promptly. I look forward to my next visit. Would highly recommend

After my partner marched in the Anzac parade we wanted to go somewhere for a bite to eat. Most clubs were crowded and overflowing with people. We saw the swallowed anchor and since my partner had been there before and it is owned by former naval people we thought it appropriate. We order the tapas, which has a great selection and brought out either all at once, or like we had it one dish at a time (which I highly reccomend) the service we great, and the food was delicious! Definately a great place for a feed, with a great atmosphere to meet with friends, or dine as a couple. The place is friendly and you don't feel rushed or obligated to eat and leave, they don't mind if you stay a bit longer and just enjoy the place.A really great place!
