Adega - Toronto

Adega is the only Toronto restaurant I dine at which is consistently great. The dining room is very comfortable and quiet no kids, no music, no screaming drunk patrons and I always get a warm welcome from the staff. The food is always perfect and today's lunch was no exception! The romaine salad is the best Caesar salad in town (even though they don't call it a Caesar) IMO. I had grilled octopus on a bed of grilled vegetables everything cooked to perfection. It was a very generous lunch serving. My friend had the daily soup squash and said it was smooth and perfect, followed by the daily fish special, a boneless grilled white fish also served with veg. The chocolate mousse is the best I've had anywhere. All my friends and family are regulars. We all love Adega!

Our Saturday early evening dinner was calm, generally quiet, and excellent overall. The Linguine With Tiger Shrimp and Pan-Roasted Herb Crusted Salmon were simmering with just enough flavor to coax us into finishing our meals without a second thought. I absolutely enjoyed the Gravelly Ford ’20 Cabernet Sauvignon, which our food server recommended. Definitely plan to visit here in the future.

Our night at Adega celebrating my sons 33rd birthday was amazing, everything from the service to the food was fabulous! Adega did not disappoint. We will definitely be returning!

Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try amazing Portuguese food and Wine. Service is outstanding.

The food is excellent. The waiters attentive. The ambiance is ok. Over all, we had a great time.
