Visited Toronto in July of 2017. Wanted to have Italian food for dinner, so made our way to Little Italy. Called Trattoria Taverniti and made reservations for dinner that evening. I would highly suggest calling (416-537-0078) for reservations as this place is not very big, but the food was amazing.

My Italian family and I settled on this spot for dinner and we are SO thankful we did!! Seriously the food tastes just as the food in Italy did and it is fantastic. The pasta is all homemade and tasted incredible. Highly recommend!! (I had the butternut squash ravioli)

In a moment of withdrawal from pizza, I took refuge in this pizzeria, where the environment immediately seemed very familiar to me, not only for the presence of Italians, but precisely for the polite and welcoming attitude of everything. staff. The pizza was great, so much so that I went back the next day in the company of other people.

We went to little Italy on a long weekend when most else was closed. The waitresses were arguing but food was insane.
