Settlement on Quay - Sydney

Good location, and great at organising groupsIn fact, I've only ever been here as part of a group.

Disappointing for the priceMy friend's pasta was overcooked, and the staff was initially confused about which menu was currently available.

Expansive restaurant with floor to ceiling windows looking out towards Circular Quay, it also has outdoor seating although it was bucketing down on the day I visited. The dining room was busy with city-types but the service was still prompt and friendly. The menu features modern Australian fare and my Prawn Linguine was well-delivered with perfectly al dente pasta, a flavoursome sauce and a healthy amount of shrimp. A golden rule of Chai Lattes (in my opinion) is that they are rarely any good when served in a teapot, leaving you to pour the drink yourself. Unfortunately Settlement did nothing to shatter this rule and the latte was disappointing with a slightly odd, perfumed flavour to it. Not my cup of tea, quite literally. thernbdiary.com

A nice little restaurant / cafe in the heart of the circular quay. If you are often surrounded by often over-controlled and fanciful restaurants, it's nice to snack here for lunch here. Grief I had the poached chicken and quinoa salad, which was a bit of fall, but still hit the spot. The mushroom, the chicken and the Pea Risotto is my choice, which was washed with a glass Shiraz.

Good if you're short on time, food is always good and they are happy to do separate billing if you're with a group.
