Hiroba - Strathfield

This Korean owned Japanese restaurant is a not-so-hidden gem. Honestly, I walk past this place so often which is right next to Strathfield station, but I just never bothered going into the restaurant, as I was so fixated on their outside takeaway shop. Anyways, boyfriend took me here and it was a lovely experience. Portions are quite small, but food was unbelievably fresh!! Service is exceptional, and they play my favourite Korean tunes. Heck yes am I coming back here.

If you like and are familiar with Japanese cuisine you will find nothing to complain about here. The sushi tastes adequately fresh and eaten in a set is quite tasty and satisfying quantity wise. Clean environment

How weird for me to goto a sushi bar but get sides like a Korean place! Korean run in assuming.my friend chose this place. A small restaurant right at the train station I had the pork gyoza and the bento box with the fish teriyaki. While I found most of the food to be a little better than average,the teriyaki fish was strange. Each piece tastes a little different and one piece I thought was a piece of pork! I'm not sure if they used different types of fish in here Nil issues with service and prices are what I expected Overall better than average Pictures on Yelp

Strathfield's best Japanese & Korean restaurant. Professional, experienced, clean and fresh. Always friendly service. Always good. Excellent variety. Popular with Koreans and Skippies too.

We came here as a small group sharing a few different dishes and leaving satisfied. Although there were no stellar standouts we agree that much of anything on the menu is guaranteed to be good and the service is also lovely! Located near the station as well, this place is a good place to go to for a small pick me up.
