Whataburger - Scottsdale

Tonight we stopped by here for something quick to eat usually we eat here and haven't had any issues. but tonight we were very disappointed with all the food we received, fries were soggy and cold definitely not fresh and have been sitting, Hamburgers seemed pre cooked and been there a while. we also ordered a large onion rings that were not cooked throughout and it was like biting into a a soggy noodle and fell apart they were terrible. but service was good that was the only positive rating I can give on this review.

I placed my order for 3 meals for the 3 of us, the only thing I requested was some ketchup. The gal asked regular or spicy, which I replied some of each. Never got it NONE. it would seem easy to do but no, cant remember that, doubt I will ever go back, fries aren't that good with NOTHING,

That was the best Whataburger I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh, and I ordered the chicken and gravy. I actually had to add my own water to the gravy to get it to my desired consistency, which was fantastic! It's usually too watery, but this time it was just right. I could swirl the cup around, and the gravy stayed put! I would definitely rate this a 10/10 and would dine here again. It truly restored my faith in Whataburger!

I ordered a chicken sandwich with everything on it, but wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun, and this is what I received? There was no lettuce, tomato, onions, or anything else we specified—even though we repeated the order twice. So frustrating!

I am truly astonished—absolutely blown away by this experience. I haven't had a burger this exceptional in years, regardless of the restaurant's price range. The service is remarkable; it feels like I'm at a family-run drive-in from the 1970s. The onion rings are delicious, the burgers are outstanding, and the shakes are fantastic. Everything about the service is top-notch. Fast food has been declining for over a decade, and the last three years have been particularly disappointing. But this place? It's like a gem from a bygone era. I'm not quite sure what else to say. I should mention that I don't use drive-thrus, so I can't comment on how the food holds up at a red light, and I also don’t use DoorDash, so I have no idea how it tastes after 45 minutes. However, if I'm looking to treat myself or my family to a burger, this spot outshines anything else in the valley.
