Meritage an Urban Tavern at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa

Being a longtime customer, we were looking forward to dinner at the Meritage. The food fell way short of what we have had on previous visits. The salads we had, the strawberry and the wedge were both extremely bland and not worth the money

Excellent ambience. Food was outstanding and well presented Very comfortable setting. Good selection on the menu

Our service was super slow. Our waitress was sub par. For the amount we paid for a mid week meal?? Usually they are spot on and busier. Will be a while that we return

We stopped in for a light dinner. Our revive was excellent. E started with the spinach an artichoke appetizer appetizer. It was excellent. My wife had a wedge sad and I had a bowl of chicken gumbo. Both were very good. The ambiance is very nice

Understaffed. Service great but poor server stretched thin and kitchen seems understaffed as well....very slow — probably due to convention at the hotel
