Bidrage med feedbackJackie's is a clever use of the 'leftover' space the back of four buildings. It's a hidden gem and beautiful sunny respite to the busyness of Oxford Street. The cafe is accessed through a gateway off Glenmore Street and boasts a sunny courtyard as well as sunken indoor dining. Food is an interesting mix of Italian and Japanese. All fresh and tasty. Drop in if you're browsing the shops of Paddington.
This is tucked away under the stylish shops Glenmore road Paddington. There's healthy juices, good coffee, and breakfast is great. At lunch you can have a glass of very nice wine and have a superb salad or sushi. It's a pretty rare cafe in this area and one well worth seeking out!
On previous trips to Sydney we've eaten here and it was like catching up with an old friend. This is a delightful restaurant/cafe with different areas having different vibes. We love the intimate interior constructed from sandstone blocks. The highlight of this visit was the chicken, rocket, avocado, sun-dried tomato and dijon dressing baguette; totally stunning! Service was friendly and efficient and the place had a lively vibe. We'll certainly return when we're next in town.
The food is good and service is OK. I personally didn't like the menu as There is no price on the menu and it was a shock for me when I paid the bill.No choice splitting of Bill either. Cost me twice as much compared to other places. Overall very expensive and not my cup of tea.
We attended Jackies with friends for breakfast. The food was average - nothing amazing. Our issues arose when they presented us with the bill... which included a "Saturday Surcharge" of $8!!! On what grounds can they justify such a surcharge?! I shudder to think what they do on public holidays...And they wouldn't allow us to split the bill...instead telling us to leave the cafe and find an ATM... really?? It's 2017 folks. Expect much better service.
