Francisco's Mexican Food - Oxnard

I can't believe I never tried pupusas before! They were so delicious. This place is like a hidden treasure! Unfortunately, I heard they are closing, but they will still be offering catering services. It's a must-try! I tried the cheese pupusa with a touch of sweetness, but they offer many other options as well. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back before they close. I also noticed they have 99 cent tacos on Tuesdays!

My friend went to a restaurant and ordered a carne asada burrito, nachos, and a pupusa. The food was good, but the server forgot to include the curtido and salsa. When we got home, I called the restaurant to let them know, but the person on the phone did not apologize and just said we could get the missing pupusa next time. I was not satisfied with this response as I wanted everything for that day. The service was fast, but the overall experience was terrible. I will not be returning. Also, the carne asada burrito had very small pieces of meat and lots of rice.

Food was delicious, staff was extremely friendly, and restaurant had a very vibe. 10/10 for sure and I definitely will be back. If you like Tripe their Tripe Tacos are to die for. I wish this spot was in Los Angeles.
