Bidrage med feedbackWe have been customers of Ferrando's since they opened but the service has become terrible. We called in an order tonight and, once again, when we arrived to pick it up they had lost our ticket. We were in their system and they took my money but then told me there was no pizza. This is the THIRD time this has happened. There does not seem to be any management on site. The owners used to be there but not anymore. I honestly do not know how they are staying in business. We will not go back the third time is the charm.
What on earth has happened?! Ferrando's Pizza in Watkinsville used to offer some of the best pizzas in town, and they were always bustling in the evenings. Now, to be honest, I'd prefer Domino's, and it seems like others feel the same way since there's only four tables occupied at 7 PM on a Friday night. The pizzas today (November 2010) are just awful... the dough is stale, the sauce is unappetizing, there's barely any cheese, and the cooking is inconsistent—some parts are overcooked while others are undercooked. I'm struggling to find the right (and polite) words to describe how unpleasant it tastes... I'm really sorry, Ferrando's, but I've tried to give you another chance and, unfortunately, I keep regretting it.
This is a fantastic restaurant that's very kid-friendly. The pizza is excellent, and there are wonderful specials available. They also offer delivery, and their chicken fingers are quite good as well!
This review is for the Athens, GA location. We tried to dine there tonight and were very disappointed with the pizza that was delivered to our table. All the cheese and meat were piled in the center, making it quite greasy, and the crust was thin. We asked our server to take a look, and we decided to return the pizza. A second pizza was sent out, but it was so overloaded with cheese that we couldn't even see the meat and vegetables underneath. We ultimately refused that pizza as well. On a positive note, the servers were very understanding and cooperative throughout the ordeal, but there was no manager present during our visit. I wonder where the owners are—if they don’t take the time to check on their pizzeria, it could end up going out of business. The pizzas we've had in the past were the best in Athens. Owners, please get involved!
