Five & Ten - Athens

If you want a great meal with spectacular service, there is no place better in Athens than Five and Ten.

The short by the glass wine list is good, but if you would like advice-recommendations are available for the dishes you have chosen. Grilled pork tenderloin is tender, and nicely served with squash and mushrooms. The grilled trout with roe was perfectly done-couldn 't recommend it more. The steamed edamame appetizer is good. The mussels escabeche are yummy, served in a patty of corn and sweet peppers with grilled bread in the side.

Forgot to snap photos of the food before we enjoyed it all! Got to have the bread basket cause it was just delicious from the start. The fish was a great choice with a corn succotash. Desert we ordered one of each and it was to die for. The chocolate cake was the highlight!

Excellent food and service. The smoked duck was exceptional and we will come again just to have that! The dessert game is slightly limited compared to the starters and mains but still very highly recommended!

We were blown away by this local Athens restaurant. Ambiance and service were absolutely top of the line. Presentation and taste of the food was superb. I’ve enjoyed a lot of Athens restaurants, but this one feels like a truly high end experience that’s absolutely worth the price. Would highly recommend we’ll be back for our next special occasion!!
