Coastline Fish And Chips Restuarant

Food was good, service and atmosphere were both good.

We visit coastline as a family all the time to sit in and takeaway. Myself and partner always share a large fish, chips mushy peas today we had around 9 chips on the plate my child’s chicken nuggets and chips had the same amount of chips on. Spoke with a supervisor who initially talked over me to chat to my 2 year old about the fork she was showing her whilst I was discussing the lack of chips. She proceeded to do this again which made it clear she wasn’t interested, when I carried on talking about the portion size. I said we’ve always shared a large meal she said they’re a standard portion and it’s a meal for 1 my partner said it a large fish and chips she said it’s the fish you pay for my partners response was yes but not with a child’s portion of chips and she said well you must’ve got lucky last time and walked away. No apology and no customer service or people skills very rude. Left really deflated and annoyed as we’ve always loved coming here. Regretted not taking a picture I was too annoyed to think about it until we left.

Excellent chippy in Blyth South Beach,fish n chips was £15.50 quite expensive but the potions were good the fish was large and to be honest one would do two people tasted great

Great fish n chips, had the coastline special. Great value for money, tasty, hot and crispy. What more could you want

Had around a 10 minute wait for a seat as it was quite busy, staff were amazing and never stopped. Fish and chips were top class and cooked to perfection Nice clean restaurant area and toilets were immaculate and free parking which is a bonus. Well worth a trip out
