Chess Pizza Viewmount - Nepean

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant a few months ago, but my recent visit was incredibly disappointing. I called in yesterday during my lunch break to order two chicken parmigianas and asked the person on the phone how long it would take. He said 15 minutes, but when I arrived about 17 minutes later, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes because he was chatting with another man. The place wasn’t busy at all, so it felt like he was just wasting both his time and mine. The food itself was poorly cooked, and I couldn't even eat it. The owner used to be wonderful, but I didn't see him there, so I’m not sure if he has sold the place or what happened.

I believe a delivery fee of $4.50 is too high. I live nearby but can't walk to the restaurant, and when I order from other places, their delivery charges are either $0 or $3.00. I used to enjoy ordering from here, but now I'm reconsidering because the food isn't worth such a high delivery cost. Whatever happened to restaurants wanting to attract customers by offering reasonable delivery fees? I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here anymore. I'll go to Harvey's, McDonald's, or anywhere else where I won’t have to pay such high delivery fees. It's unbelievable!

We tried this restaurant for the first time, and I became addicted to the poutine with chicken! Every time I took a bite, I just felt hungrier. The cheese mix was great, and we also ordered the honey garlic chicken, which was absolutely delicious. Everything we tried was tasty, and the staff was really friendly. They offered great suggestions since it was our first visit. I highly recommend this place!

So, when we moved to the opposite about 5 years ago, we really wanted a fast pizza to dinner and found this place with a decent review. so we thought why not give them a shot and call them for a delivery. we did. the guy who answered and took our order was really friendly and answered all our questions. we have a pizza, wings and pops. and as the guy on the phone promised that our food arrived very quickly. actually within 20min I had never done this so that was eating super hot. the pizza was amazing to eat big sauce to the peat ratios. the crust was perfect. not to dry, not too thin or thick just perfect. the wings were super tasty and of a good size. not too small or too big jus a perfect medium size I know some people like huge wings.. the pops were also really cold. it was a great first experience with them and since we have ordered many, many times without problems and eating is always great. they have fast delivery times. good food and good prices. if they want to try out a new pizza place or get new in the opposite and look for the first time, then they give them a try, they will not be disappointed..oh and we have also changed a handful of time in their physical situation and bought a piece and pop.

Last weekend we had small pizza, steak sub, and 2 salads. The food was hot and fresh. The young man was very pleasant as always. This week I ordered two mediums 1 GF with two salads. Once again the food was hot and fresh. Gunna demo my pizza right now.This is my go to for steak subs in Ottawa now. Salads are a great value as their freshness means they can be eaten later in th week. Top quality vegatables.The Gluten Free pizzas are also very good.Thanks for remaking the Pizzas! You helped make Easter good again my friend!GM
