Lusa Bakery - Ottawa

The staff here are incredibly friendly, the coffee is great, and the pastries are absolutely delicious. I can't recommend this place enough. They also speak Portuguese, which made me feel right at home. Thank you! We'll definitely be coming back often.

Amazing chicken! I can't figure out how they make it taste so incredible! Usually, I'm not a huge fan of white meat, but theirs was juicy and absolutely delicious. The piri piri sauce is fantastic! Additionally, the coxinhas are among the best I've ever had. The fries and salad were great as well! I really appreciated that she offered us some Portuguese tarts since they didn't have rice available; they were very tasty. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be returning for more.

Absolutely delicious! I only wish I had discovered this place earlier. The prices are very reasonable (I would even go so far as to say they’re cheap, considering today’s economy) and the food is fantastic. A few years ago, I had a Portuguese egg tart from a renowned bakery in Macau, and I can confidently say that Lusa makes their tarts just as wonderfully! There is a wide variety of options to choose from, and the server is exceptionally friendly.

Great bakery, huge selection of Portuguese desserts and treats.They also make amazing sandwiches, and chicken meals. We went and had lunch there, then returned on the Saturday to stock up on baked goods to bring home to Niagara.Staff are very friendly and helpful.Prices are very reasonable for the quality.

If you come to Ottawa, you must come here for half a chicken. The chicken was one of the best meals we've had in Canada! An absolute must. It's also conveniently close to the public library.
