Bidrage med feedbackWe've been visiting Oregano’s for years, and it's always been fantastic. I really enjoy the retro 40s/50s atmosphere with its red and green decor. Old TVs play black and white clips, and the beans are painted in vibrant red and green colors. The music sets the perfect mood with a vintage mix featuring Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, and Ella Fitzgerald—I absolutely love it! The service has consistently been excellent, and today was no different. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always a step ahead when it comes to refilling drinks and providing napkins. We started with garlic bread and marinara, then shared a thin-crust pepperoni pizza. Both dishes were delicious, as always. We opted for the smaller 14-inch pizza, and combined with the garlic bread, we couldn’t finish it all. There’s nothing better than Oregano’s leftovers for lunch!
Additionally, the restrooms—and even the hallway leading to them—had a strong smell of urine, which raises concerns about the overall cleanliness of the place. The food was typical of Oregano's, but it took 55 minutes from when we were seated for our meals to arrive, and our appetizer never showed up. When I mentioned this to the manager, he generously comped the appetizer, but we only ended up receiving one. Oregano's really needs to modernize; implementing electronic tablets for servers to take orders would speed things up significantly. Plus, it's been a long time since they've refreshed their menu, which has become rather lackluster. It's no surprise that this is one of the lowest-rated Yelp locations in the valley. I have no desire to return.
As for the food, it was quite good! We started with fried zucchini sticks, I had the Alfredo the Dark with chicken while my friend chose the Chicken Caprese. We ended our meal by sharing a pazooki, and everything was delicious! Overall, I’d rate it a solid 7 out of 10. While I might not make this a regular haunt, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back someday.
Our server Drea was very helpful and courteous. This was our first time ordering pizza here. We ordered a thin crust pizza with mushrooms. Not too much sauce and not too greesy. Sauce was lacking flavor so I added seasoning and red peppers which were on the table. We'll be back but I'll stick with the shrimp el diablo!
Pretty good place. Pizza was satisfactory. Very busy. Not the best nor the worst Italian cuisine I've had. Service was friendly and place was clean and classy. Would likely return if in the area and craving pizza.
