Jersey Mike's Subs - Mesa

I used to love Jersey Mike's. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was my go-to spot, and I visited at least three times a week. However, I've noticed that the portions have been getting smaller and the meats and cheeses are sliced so thin that you can almost see through them. At $16.95 for a Giant, the small portions and nearly transparent slices just aren't worth it. I used to think Jersey Mike's was "A Sub Above," but it feels more like they're falling behind the competition now. I’m not a big fan of Subway, but they definitely provide thicker slices and more consistent portions. Come on, Jersey Mike's – it's time to amp up those slice thicknesses and win back your loyal customers!

This restaurant is outstanding. I can't speak highly enough of the chef managing the kitchen. He was engaging, charismatic, and undeniably talented. He is a true master of his craft! I strongly recommend visiting for a delicious and flavorful meal.

The lobby was spotless, and they efficiently prepared 12 footlong sandwiches in under 5 minutes with just two staff members. I will definitely return to this location in the future.

When the rare roast beef is available, this is one of the best sandwiches in the valley. Definitely go for Mike's Way (with mayo)!

I believe this is the best sub sandwich around. It's a bit pricier, but getting two for $20 to $25 is quite a deal! The staff is always friendly. I went to the Jersey Mike's on Dobson Road (location 202) and I especially enjoyed the Big Kahuna.
