Golden Krust Caribbean - Marelly's

This is one of the only franchises where the food looks and tastes like authentic Jamaican food. I live over 30 minutes away from this location keep in mind there is a franchise close to me, a different owner). However, I will drive to this location because I am looking for good Jamaican food; I bought soup recently and when I got home I was happy to see the ground provosions in the soup, it was favorful just like soup back home. Some restaurants all they have in the soup is carrots and celery we don't put celery in soup), or it's filled with dumplins! The ladies that serve here extend good service to the customers. To the owner, please maintain or even top the quality that you are producing. As we tend to see that a lot with Jamaican restaurants here in the US lose their edge over time.

This is the best Jamaican food,I have had in Orlando. I always get Oxtails. My Son had Curry Chicken. The serving is a very good

Ordered from this place for delivery at lunch. The food was delicious. I don’t know if it was the dumplings, or the patties that made me full. The delivery was speedy, (and this time they didn’t mess up the address).

The customer service was amazing and the waitress Shanda was so kind and respectful. The food was delicious.

I haft to say I am a long time customer of golden krust in every city I have been to this is my go to carribean food spot but lately the last 5 locations I been to including this 1 has been a let down. I always order a large oxtail with rice and peas and a side of macaroni pie, first off they raised the price it use to be under 15 for a large now you spending over 20$ and the oxtail not as tasty as it use to be the macaroni pie I use to love now its not worth the extra charge. I can't blame the staff here they where nice but the franchise in all have dumb down their recipes or changed somethings now it's too commercialized.
