Kung Fu Tea - Manteca

I was very disappointed because the boba wasn't even fully heated. I won't be returning to this place again.

I was very disappointed! I ordered a Thai iced milk tea with boba from Kung Fu Tea, and the boba pearls were not heated properly. It really ruined my day. I would recommend going to another boba place instead. I was really looking forward to this during my lunch break, and it's such a letdown.

The service was average—prompt and efficient. The interior of the restaurant is clean. In one corner, there's a claw machine, and nearby, a table with games like Jenga. The walls are adorned with cute, colorful cloud designs. I ordered the matcha milk cap with boba, which costs an extra $0.75 for the boba addition, bringing the total to $8.50. While the price is a bit steep, the milk cap has a creamy flavor similar to half-and-half. The drink tastes as it should, though it leans a bit on the sweet side.

I finally discovered Kung Fu Tea! The last time my daughter and I explored the complex, we couldn't find it. They have a fantastic selection, quick service, and the store was very clean! We brought my mother and nephew along this time. My nephew and I both ordered milk tea—he got the Kung Fu milk tea with bubbles, while I chose the taro milk tea with bubbles. Meanwhile, my mother and daughter enjoyed the pineapple slush, which reminded us of a Dole Whip. All of our drinks cost less than $20. We will definitely return!

I encountered several issues during my visit. They were out of the first two items I wanted to order, I received less boba than expected, and the portions were quite small. While this made for a disappointing first impression, I have to say that both the tea and the boba were delicious. I might give it another chance, but I won’t make a special effort to return.
