Shark Bite Fish 'n ' Chippery

Had some chips here tonight while doing some laundry. Extremely friendly staff and the chips were delicious

This place is really underated.. its so far the best fish and chips I have found within a 25,km radius.. seems like they cook everything in sperate fryers. Chips taste like chips, clean crisp and how you would expect. Fish in batter is cooked how I like with a slight crisp and crunch... I would definitely recommend this place.

The food from here is great. However, avoid unless you want to sit there for 30-60 minutes waiting for your order whilst you watch countless orders for Uber Eats or whatever getting pumped out, only to sit in the warmer for 10-15 minutes before they're even picked up.These orders are given FAR higher priority over customers who have gone to the trouble of coming into the store.The workers work in slow motion and if you ask for actual fish (ie not flake) it's guaranteed to be cooked poorly.The management clearly have no idea on how to run a business, and I have no doubt they'd have gone under years ago if the other fish chip shops in the area weren't so bad. I still hope to see a For Lease sign on the window one day, though.

Friday night was the first time I ordered food from here and it will be my last. I called to place an order they advised it will be ready in 25mins I get there and been told that part of my order was ready and just waiting on my 2 grilled flakes, which I was all ok with. Hour goes by and I still don't have my grilled flakes but the rest of my order is still sitting there under the heated light. I question where are the rest of my order, its coming i got told im like its been over hr that I have waited and the rest of my order is sitting there still. Obviously they stuffed up somewhere and I finally managed to get my grilled flakes when returning home I only received 1 grilled flakes, the chips were so hard and cold not even my 3 yr old son could eat them it was all cold and disgusting. I rang them straight away and complained again didnt really get much responses back from them. Not happy and will not return back there again.

Since the first lock get my fish and chips from this place quite often. great place and great friendly staff. the mini-pack and it was always good to get a great crispy fish. quite generous and can easily feed two. would recommend this place for her.
