Cafe Paisano - Longwood

This restaurant surpasses all chain Italian places. The shrimp limon is amazing, and the pizza, stuffed shells, and stromboli are all exceptional. Even the wings are delicious. And I have to mention the bistecca roll – it’s incredible!

We had an impromptu lunch and decided to stop by on a whim, and I'm really glad we did! As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed. We ordered the One Pound Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan, both of which came with a side salad and garlic knots. The portions were generous, and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and fast as well. We definitely plan to return soon!

My wife and I have been visiting Cafe Paisano for many years, and it has become our favorite Italian restaurant. We've brought many family members and friends there over the years, and we've consistently enjoyed their food. The pizza is superb, and they offer a variety of entrees in both lunch and dinner portions. It's a casual dining experience with excellent food at reasonable prices. What more could you want? I highly recommend Cafe Paisano!

I used to order a lot of pizza from them for last 4 years, pizzas were great. However, the last 2 times I ordered Chicken Picata, it was horrible, the chicken seemed like it was pre cooked or boiled, thrown in a pan with lemon, capers white wine, it was so bad, 2 bites in the garbage. Today I ordered a sandwich, the bread is poor quality, very little turkey, cheese was sparse thinly sliced. My family owned a fine dining restaurant in Ohio where I 'm from,in 1975 I went to the Grand Hotel in Rome and did a 6 month CIA certified apprenticeship,and went on ran a real deal kitchen for a long time, Mobil Michelin 4 star ratings 13 consecutive years, I know about fine dining. Jersey Mike 's is my go to from now on for a sandwich,they make great subs. I don 't like posting derogatory reviews, but after today, I won 't order anymore from Paisano 's except pizza.

Update: After many visits, I can say the pizza is fantastic! If you enjoy calamari, you'll appreciate the generous portion, and it's wonderfully tender. The bread used for the subs is incredibly soft and fresh. Overall, the food here is outstanding!
