Sumo Japanese - Longview

This restaurant in Texas used to be a Mexican restaurant before it became a sushi spot. The menu is not very extensive or traditional like other sushi places. Some dishes, like the teriyaki chicken and bento boxes, were decent but overall, the food doesn't stand out.

We had lunch at Sumo Restaurant and the sushi was great. The sushi chef was Lee and he did a outstanding job. Our waitress was Courdney and she gave us some good recommendation what to order. Overall; we will go back the next time we are in Longview!

Best sushi in town. Try the Yaki Neku stir fry for a great meal. Generous serving sizes, and friendly staff.

Always great service, food, and sushi! This time, the steak was slightly tough for both me and my husband with medium well and medium rare . However, this is the first time I have ever noticed this to be a problem, and we will definitely be back as always! Love Sumos!
