Booshay's Bayou Cafe - Longview

Anyone who knows Greg is aware of his passion for seafood, and this restaurant did not disappoint! They even offered options for me (since I don’t eat anything from the water)! We’ll definitely be returning! This Louisiana guy has found his new favorite spot in Texas!

Absolutely loved it! Since I can’t handle spicy food, they prepared a special batter just for me, which I've never experienced anywhere else before! My husband mentioned that the crawfish and Bayou Balls were outstanding. The service was exceptional as well. We will definitely be returning... frequently!

I was very impressed! The presentation was fantastic. I ordered the fish, but I tried the "blackened shrimp" from my coworker's plate and it was absolutely amazing! It left me craving more! I will definitely be returning!

I gave this restaurant three stars because their fried items are fantastic—always served hot and fresh. The staff and the owner are incredibly sweet and polite. Regardless of how busy the place gets, the service remains consistently excellent, which I truly appreciate. However, I do think they need to improve the flavor of their crawfish. I've noticed many people buying them, including my friends, but they often lack seasoning from the boil, requiring you to add it afterward, which can get messy. Additionally, the drinks are quite watered down. I enjoy a good drink and can be particular about my beverages, but even my sister and her friend, who aren’t regular drinkers, said the drinks were not good. So, there’s definitely room for improvement in that area.

This restaurant is, without a doubt, the best place we've dined in a long time! Our waiter was absolutely exceptional, and the food was phenomenal. We spent quite a bit, but it was definitely worth it. We'll definitely be returning!
