Taco Palenque - Laredo

I absolutely love her fajita tacos! They are truly authentic, and the salsa bar adds an extra layer of brilliance.

Fantastic Mexican food chain! I've been coming here my whole life and have rarely had a bad experience. The food is consistently excellent and undeniably authentic. Their tacos are some of the best in the city, and the "pirata" is a standout option that includes shrimp, cheese, and fajita. Most tacos are generously filled, often enough to split into two (just ask for extra tortillas). They offer complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa bar has a wide selection; my personal favorite has always been the green salsa. The fajita is incredibly tender, and the cheddar they use adds a wonderful flavor to the tacos that include cheese. There's also a playground outside that’s perfect for young children, making it a great spot for families. While the prices are slightly higher than most taco joints in Laredo, they are still significantly cheaper than places in Central Austin, and the food is well worth it. All the Laredo locations are outstanding, and I highly recommend each one!

I had my first dining experience at this restaurant, and it was excellent! I will definitely be going back. The portions were generous, the prices were affordable, and the staff was friendly.

Maybe they were having an off day but neither of two pork adobado tacos I ordered were good. In all fairness my chicken fajita taco was spot on. I guess 1 good taco out of 3 may not be bad for some people... But I won't be ordering the adobado tacos from there again anytime soon.
