Lighthouse Seafood is the only place I wholeheartedly recommend for fresh seafood in the area. As their sign says, “Friends don’t let friends eat farmed-raised shrimp.” I’ve been buying fish and shellfish from them for years, and I can confidently say that when you enter the shop, it never has that fishy smell—this is a true indicator of the freshness of their products. I often purchase mussels, and when I cook them, it's rare to find any that don’t open up. The quality here is top-notch, and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. They also carry a variety of sauces, pasta, crab-stuffed portobello mushrooms, and key lime pie, to name just a few items. If you’re looking for fresh seafood, definitely check out Lighthouse Seafood. They even provide ice to keep your purchases cold on your way home.

Fresh and fantastic! They removed the unwanted skin from my salmon and portioned it into individual fillets for me to freeze. Their chowder is absolutely amazing! I really love this place!

Exemplary staff, outstanding seafood, and top-notch service. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Whenever I’m in Florida, I always make it a point to stop by Lighthouse Seafood. Their Key Lime Pie is absolutely divine—truly homemade. The only thing you won’t find here is the typical seafood smell, which is actually a positive. Make sure to check them out the next time you’re in the Villages or Lake Mary!

What an amazing experience! The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the food could rival that of any fine seafood restaurant. They offer an incredible gluten-free fish and chips, as well as a gluten-free roasted calamari that is out of this world! If you're searching for a substantial gluten-free fried fish, this is definitely the place to go!
