Bidrage med feedbackI used to be a huge fan of the cheese fries at Nagle's Top Dog; they were the best in town until they changed the cheese. It's such a shame, as I really miss those fries. Another standout at Top Dog is the peanut butter shake. I’m not a fan of chocolate and often struggle to find a dessert that solely features peanut butter, so this shake is a real treat. Unfortunately, I’m lactose intolerant, which means I can’t indulge in it too often, but when I do, it's definitely worth it.
Don't expect to find a typical hot dog here. Instead, go for a breakfast sandwich—it's worth it, even if you're visiting at 3:00 PM. An interesting observation: those who prefer sausages tend to like bacon here, and the opposite is true as well.
I absolutely love the Breakwich sandwich! I usually order two: one with bacon and one with sausage. If you’re really hungry, you might want to try the Monster sandwich!
Good dogs. Nagle's kind of a dipping little joint on South Burdick. You have quite a lot of a complete menu (including breakfast), but I'm stuck in the hot dogs. The dogs were pretty good (think ballpark type, instead of gourmet dogs) and there is a decent selection of toppings. The Chicago Dog is not really a Chicago Dog, but it was actually quite good for what it was. It's close and cheap, so I'm probably back.
Nagle’s is what it is. It’s good, greasy diner food. Some people have told me they only go their for the hot dogs. Others have said the Breakfast Sandwich is something they crave. I didn’t have either, but I was happy with my meal and very happy with the price.
