Golden Star Chinese Restaurant

Its an old building but the food is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is suitable for disabled which is a bonus

Have been a few times and has been good but went recently and they must have a new cook, Ugh. The chicken was raw and the rice did not have much in it and was extremely greasy and you could not taste the sauce, very very disappointing. Won't be going back such a shame as this restaurant is handy and used to be so good.

We stopped in there on the way to Canberra at about 730pm at night on my birthday with my wife and two children the food was nice, it was a clean place , service was good, it was priced ok about $60 for the 4 of us and we had our fill. Short soup was great heaps of Wong tongs :)

The lady staff member we had was very helpful We ordered our meal. The place was very clean and easy to park your car outside plenty of people ordering take away so that makes it helpful to know it must be good food we were not disappointed our food was abundant and delish more than we could possibly eat they put the food into containers for us and no charge for it I spoke to the lady sieving us and told her about our Broome experience she was very understanding I would recommend the Golden Star to everyone well worth it well be back.
