Hibernian Hotel - Goulburn

We walked in at about 6.30 pm on a Monday night and the place was jumping. We had to wait for a table but the drinks we available, and welcome after a long day on the road.A table became available before we finished our drinks.We ordered and had to wait, so we were obliged to start another beverage before our meals were ready.They were well worth the wait.Generous servings, well prepared and presented. The quality was superb!So if you want a well priced, great pub meal, The Hibernian would be hard to beat.

Firstly, went in on a Tuesday night without booking (big mi-Steak on our part!) It's $14 steak night and the locals know where to get a good feed! But as soon as we walked in, the manager approached our group, knowing we were looking for a table and had us arranged and seated within ten minutes on a very very busy night! On top of that service the food was brilliant. The steak was on special and was delicious. But every other meal I saw also looked pretty amazing. Have gone back twice since and it gets better every time. Have to make a special mention of the staff in the kitchen (the girls on the till) on a Tuesday night when they are packed out and under the pump, they couldn't be more polite and accommodating! To the management at the Hibo- those girls are worth more money!!!

Have been there at night as well as for lunch. A good place to take elderly people with easy access at the rear of the pub

We had dinner the steak was cooked perfect and salad very good the deserts looked very very nice but after the steak not much room left . swans05

First of all - THESE GUYS DO THE BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD!This place does amazing pub food and does great weekly specials. They have large serving sizes and are not shy on the sides (and the salad is actually yummy!). It's a typical friendly county pub that is not caught up in fads (like hipster) which is refreshing.
