Dining at the Findon Hotel - FINDON

This was my first visit for several years mainly because we frequent the Port Adelaide area being local. The staff were very helpful particularly advising how we could make use of the special deal that was running at the time that reduced our meal cost considerably. My wife and I were hanging out for steak and chose Graizers Fillets medium rare with Diane and Mushroom sauces that were cooked to perfection and the sauces a feature. Our sons had Atlantic Salmon and Kentucky Fried Chicken Burger both of which they said were great. Our granddaughter had chicken nuggets and chips with sauce that she enjoyed along with the children's playground area, a winner for us that kept her amused when not eating.

We had a Christmas lunch in this place. they had a order one get one free deal. We was worrying about food quality as it was pretty good deal. But the food was fine and we enjoyed free meals. They have variety food choice and enough room for many people. Even though the place is bit old but it doesn't really bother us. I already recommended to my friends.

Not never nice food for the price,tables were sticky and gross, fish taste and smelt like its was cooked in old oil, wouldn't go back, think McDonalds would of been much better.

The food is really below average. With so many other pubs around providing good food, go to one of them. The salad bar is limp, the food very hit and miss and even the portion sizes vary. Highlight is the little bake at home rolls/

This is one of our locals to which we haven't been in a while. It was a Wednesday night - first hot day of spring which is why we selected this pub, so we could sit out in the beer garden. Getting a drink, food service - even asking for cutlery was very difficult. Staff were very minimal and very down. I'm not sure if they are being treated poorly, but they all seemed very unhappy. Food was also very average compared to past visits. Even customer numbers were very minimal which goes to show people aren't happy dining there. This pub has potential but wont do well if things don't change.
