Tony Tomatoes - North Adelaide

I had heard great things about this restaurant, but I was extremely disappointed. The staff were friendly, but there was no menu and they wouldn't tell us the prices or options. We ended up being pressured into ordering a sharing plate and dessert. My partner and I are vegetarian, so we asked for no meat, but the veggie portion wasn't adjusted. The dessert was not good, only suitable for a child's taste. We left hungry, disappointed, and much poorer. For the price we paid, I expected a drink and more choices. I won't be returning.

The service and atmosphere were both excellent. When I arrived with friends, we were immediately greeted warmly. The waiter was helpful with any menu inquiries we had. Our orders arrived promptly and the food was delicious! Our taste buds were definitely satisfied. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will definitely recommend this place to others!

The food at Tony Tomatoes is outstanding, with their homemade fresh dough being a standout feature. The thin, slightly crispy crust has a nice chew to it, and is not too heavy. The top three pizza choices are the veg patch for vegetarians, fun guy for mushroom lovers, and prosciutto for those looking for a protein-packed option. The bold flavors of the ingredients really shine through in each bite. Additionally, the zucchini and calamari fritti is a surprising and delicious dish that is worth trying. The staff are generally friendly, although they may occasionally forget small details under pressure. However, they go above and beyond to ensure that customers are satisfied and taken care of. Overall, Tony Tomatoes is a great spot for authentic and high-quality pizza, perfect for both large groups and intimate gatherings.

Best food in Adelaide; which is a big call as everything in Adelaide is perfect. Eaten here 3 out of the four last nights we’ve been in Adelaide.

Had takeaway pizza from here. It was so good, took my wife here for a date night before a fringe show. The pizza is amazing. We have had Mr Pig, Tony Pepperoni, Marghareta and the Salame pizza. All amazing but the Mr Pig was the stand out for us. The Arancini balls are a great way to start we had both the raddish and asparagus ones both were delicious. Make sure you fit in a Aperol Spritz at the start or the middle or even at the end!
