Checkers on Tor is " my local" being located on my way home. So there have been many evenings when I've been saved from cooking by Scott and the team. Best Pork Roast Meals. And I struggle to pass by without craving the yummy chips. The best cup of coffee in town too! Well worth a visit

Was here on business and decided to grab a quick bite to eat, ordered the bacon and egg burger combo. Although the burger was tasty the service was appalling. A "what do you want" when you walk to the counter not even a "how are you what would you like" I've worked in hospitality for the last 5 years I know we all have down moments but this is ridiculous!

In a hurry to get to a meeting, dropped in here and got a meatless roast meal and a roasted lamb and gravy sandwich, both were very good, Pleasant staff, clean shop and quick service. Best roast sandwich for a long time. The option of wholemeal bread would make it even better. Would go back again. Good alternative to Pizza or hamburgers.

Extensive menu in a clean environment. Very good service and pleasant staff. Food was served hot and was good value for money.

Yuck, the worse roast roll ive ever tried.. dry meat, it was meat gravvy on a bun $7.60 worse money spent
