I've been a loyal patron of Kisso since it first opened, and I can confidently say it offers the best sushi in the Waikato, if not even further afield! Their fresh teriyaki salmon is simply amazing, with massive portions—seriously, the pieces of salmon are HUGE! I saw another reviewer mention that the prices are a bit higher than at other places; I personally disagree with that. I also highly recommend trying their other sushi options—everything they serve is exceptional, with no mediocre dishes. Regarding the comment about the owners’ attitudes, I find this couple to be quite entertaining and a little cheeky, but they are always friendly. Perhaps the customer just misunderstood their humor? I really enjoy the atmosphere, and I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

While the sushi selection has its highlights, the other options are only average, and the prices are a bit steep compared to other sushi spots in Hamilton. Additionally, I found the owners' demeanor to be rather unwelcoming.

Thank you for a delightful lunch on Wednesday. It can be challenging to find restaurants that accommodate vegan diets, but you handled my request seamlessly without any hesitation.

The pizza here is fantastic! The restaurant has a spacious ambiance with some lovely details. It's the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion—absolutely fabulous!

We enjoyed some fantastic food and received excellent service. We'll definitely be returning!
