Club Hotel - Bundaberg

Exceptionally happy after receiving great service in dining area, we arrived 15 mins after lunch was closed when one of the staff offered to cook up roast dish for partner and myself, it was a great meal and great experience to have service returned

I love the club hotel rump steak with mushroom sauce so mouthwatering its a fantastic club i love coming here so much

I have been here plenty of times as good is always good, the atmosphere is layed back which I expect for a pub, but the food is much better then any pub meal. The staff are also good here very helpful and quick to clean tables for you. Good range of meals and too many to list of my favourites. You don't have to book as they willNormal be able to seat you but why take that risk. Good for large groups and just the two of you! If you stick around later it becomes more like a pub with live bands out the back or more younger music out the front.

WE visited Bundy the other day & went to the Royal for the Sunday ROAST lunch.What a terrible mistake this was, 2 of us had the "ROAST" A serve of part cooked pork leg grilled to imitate hot roast, potatoes in foil but not roasted, boiled pumpkin, no crackle & smothered in a gravy to overcome the dried out grilling. My partner couldn't chew the pork as it was so tough so she took it back & the cook told her to wait while he grilled another couple of pieces out of the freezerWe finished up leaving 60% of the meal on the plates & walked out never to return to such a crappy meal. My advice is to not buy their roast meals, maybe a steak sandwich but probably you would be better off at one of the fast food outlets.

If you like a steak then the club hotel is a must. Being a chef and expecting perfection isnt easy. But i was pleasantly surprised by todays eye fillet. The portion was ample Cooked rare to med and the knife just sliced through this tender cut.Served with a good selectiom of fresh veg and country chips and a side of sauce of your choice. No faults at all.
