Pastarium - Berlin

Eating was delicious and the environment, very cozy. there were not too many decorations that scattered the walls. the staff was friendly and friendly.

The ratings on tripadvisor or google are VERY inflated for this place.The service was nice, and the place spacious and comfortable.The pasta dishes, however, ranged from bland to barely edible. A red flag should be that they have three different menus and offer way too much to be able to do anything well.Bland, bland, bland both in taste and appearance--there were no fresh herbs or fresh garlic in the dishes.The two dishes actually seemed more characteristic of German food (spätzl dishes) and at the very best, an uninspired, unresearched, vague take on Italian food If you decide to try this place, maybe the pizzas would be better bet.

There's not a whole lot more to say than the title of this review. not bad, not particularly good. pleasantly decorated and friendly service. pretty reasonable. this is not a restaurant for which you would travel from another part of town, but it's a good alternative if it's in your immediate neighborhood.

If this restaurant was just one block away on Bergmanstr. it would be packed every night with a line out the door. As it is, they make their own pasta. Everything Ive eaten there has been good, or very good. The place itself has a nice ambiance and enough room that I've never had to wait for a table.

We've been here for a Sunday lunch. Didn't know the place, so no expectations except the ones coming from the reviews I've been reading here.We took two different kind of pasta and they were simple and good, and a huge burrata which was really really tasty: I would suggest, next time, don't put the balsamico on it, it's not really typical and not requested ;)Anyway a nice place in the area.
