CUBO Restaurant Japanese Home Cooking & Sushi Bar

We stopped at this little restaurant, not too convinced (doesn't look much from the outside) we decided to go in as it was full. It has very little space (6tables?) and a small terrasse. Only one waiter speaks English. Very nice and helpful. The sushi, tempura and maki were a delight. Fresh and made on-the-spot. We were 3 and ordered 4 different platters. We paid €57 including drinks (5 beers 0.5ml). We were looking for quality and freshness and frankly, this place has it. Will go back. Recommend.

Absolutely fabulous! Great athmosphere, beautiful interieur, skillfully and elegantly arranged and prepared meals! The prices are very good for the quality of the food. It's nice japanese kitchen, not too traditional but with a great personal touch. But they offer as well japanese dishes that are harder to find in most places, like udon, unagi don, even matcha ice cream.. And some korean dishes like bibimbap. I would say the variations are superb.The miso soup -my favourite - with salmon and sesame inside. Fantastic!

The restaurant was calm, nice and cosy. We ate a two person sushi plate. All type of makis and sushis were excellent, I even discovered a tempura avocado maki that was incredible. I ate in quite various different asian restaurant and it is clearly one...of my favorite. Thanks !

Very much like home-made sushi... not disgusting but not delicious. People smoking outside which is very stinky as well while you eat. Slow service.
