Bidrage med feedbackWe decided to visit during happy hour but were disappointed to learn that they no longer have happy hour specials. Despite this, we ordered two calamari appetizers as it has always been a favorite of ours. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst calamari we've ever had. It was overcooked to the point where there was no flavor left, although the bread was delicious. The prices have significantly increased since Covid, with our calamari costing $21 compared to the previous happy hour price of around $10. Due to this, we won't be returning anytime soon.
I visited this restaurant alone to celebrate my 62nd birthday. I am currently in remission from cancer, so I was incredibly happy to reach this milestone. Making a reservation online was simple and easy. Upon arrival, I was seated in a lovely booth with a view overlooking the Marina. My server was exceptional, providing attentive service and making me feel comfortable dining alone. The food, drinks, and view were all amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant; the staff is very friendly and the food is consistently outstanding.
The calamari was small and had a bitter taste. The shrimp salad only had a tablespoon of shrimp on top. But the bread was delicious!
Do not go for lunch on a Sunday. They give you only a very limited brunch menu that does not include most of their best items. I ordered the eggs Benedict, figuring they would get it right at such an expensive restaurant, but the hollandaise sauce was too sour and not very good. What a disappointment. I've had excellent food here before, but brunch really sucks. I wish I had known it would be brunch only when I made the reservation.
4.5 stars. Wonderful salmon and faro salad. Great clam chowder. So were the fish and chips. Cheesecake excellent. Spirits Wine and beer. First rate service. Great views of marina.
