Rock And Rye Oyster House - Bellingham

This restaurant is excellent! The oysters are large and impressive. For our appetizers, we had the tataki and scallops, both of which had a perfectly crispy top layer while remaining tender inside. We also sampled the duck and ribeye, and both dishes were fantastic. However, I found the entrée portions to be a bit on the smaller side. I can't wait to return!

The oysters are always fresh, the soft drinks are creatively crafted, and the dishes are delicious, all accompanied by very friendly service. The balcony is comfortable and perfect for enjoying the lovely weather. I had the cauliflower, polenta, and mushroom dish, and they were all fantastic! I also noticed that they offer a bottle of Chateau Montelena Chardonnay (be sure to watch the film "Bottle Shock").

If you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere with an incredible dinner, this place is definitely worth a visit. Our meal was fantastic, and our server was exceptional. She timed our food perfectly. We're definitely coming back!

Large eating and delicious inventive cocktails, music was not too loud for talks, and much space when they are after about 7:30 or so. Menu is a little on the small side, but what they do, they do well.

Excellent food and service! Cool atmosphere! We ate out on the back deck on a warm summer night. Our table ordered the steamers, fish and chips and duck confit. All was really good. Our server anticipated every need, without being annoying. He was brilliant. Can’t wait to go back.
