Met 2 Cafeteria - AVALON BEACH

The wall poster advertised fish and chips, but when my wife politely ordered, the elderly lady rudely and aggressively told her there were no chips, only veggies. The menu on the wall is misleading. When we saw the small portion of fish on display, my wife asked if it was hot, but the lady responded angrily, saying of course it was hot. I spoke to her in a similar aggressive tone and decided to leave. This woman should not be working with the public, as she is rude and unpleasant for no apparent reason other than her bad mood.

I was here few weeks awesome and with a pure hearth i would recommend this place ; You can eat here awesome and tasty food

This cafeteria is on the top floor of Woolworth store, right opposite Sydney Town Hall. They serve breakfast till 11am and you can chose from scones+cream+jam+coffe/tea for $6, through more extensive menu all the way to 'everything ' dish for $12. English/American style breakfast with hash...browns, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, etc. For lunch they have roasts with vegetables or salad and complimentary drink (tea, coffee, soft drink). Servings are generous and roast pork comes with an added piece of crackling. They also have fish, steaks, sandwiches, salads and the freshly prepared dishes of pasta, sea food or Asian style food. If you are not so hungry or just want to save money, you can order sausages and veg. Simple décor with booths and some stand-alone tables. Definitely a bargain and it is never noisy or busy like some other cheap restaurants. If you want some English/American style food, this is the place to go to. No one will rush you if you sit around a bit to rest your feet.

I remember as a child going to this place and was surprised to hear recently it was still open so I thought I would try it. It's adjacent to Town Hall station and so very convenient if you are travelling by train. I had the...roast beef $12.80! It came with potatoes, peas and pumpkin. I noticed they had a lot of other menu choices. Very cheap, even a steak with chips and salad cost only $14.00! Let's face it, you're not expecting a great deal for that money, and a roast is good honest food, not loaded with sugars and fat! If you don't want to spend much money but are hungry you could do a lot worse than have a meal here.

I found this cafe because i wanna buy a new flash dive lol. it's just so so for me not good or bad . Coffee was very nice Food was fine . It had only one thing I don't like about it the place quite...dirty
