Bidrage med feedbackA fun and pleasant place! The dumplings are just like any other—made of dough and meat—but the atmosphere is what makes it special. This little café is located in the "Back to the USSR" museum and is naturally decorated in a corresponding style. You'll find kitchenware from the last century, a collection of alcohol labels and candy wrappers, and amusing cocktail recipes. The café is small, with about 10 tables and stools, but it is clean and tidy. The ice cream with chocolate chips served in a metal dish brings back memories of childhood... Mmm! P.S. People, lighten up a bit! This is an experience, an attraction, and then you can eat. No one is forcing you to sit at the tables or shove dumplings down your throat!
This is a wonderful little café with a very interesting decor. The menu is small, but the food is delicious and homemade. If you're feeling nostalgic about the Soviet era, this is the place for you, especially since there's a museum dedicated to that time. Plus, they offer ice cream served in fancy dishes, authentic Indian coffee, sweets reminiscent of New Year's gifts, and a whole lot of pleasant emotions and memories.
The dumplings are delicious but nothing special. The room is small, decorated with things from the Soviet past. The tables are small, instead of chairs stools, it will not be possible to sit comfortably. A portion of dumplings costs 420-450 rubles, when asked why it’s still a little expensive, they answered: But because it’s a museum! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The dumplings are incredibly delicious, and they’re handmade too! The portion is generous and very satisfying. The saltiness is just perfect. The milkshake is tasty as well, just like I remember from childhood. We also bought some Indian coffee, which is surprisingly good for instant coffee. The jar it comes in feels nostalgic too. Plus, you can buy Turbo gum—I haven’t had that since the '90s! Overall, thank you for a wonderful experience!
A fun place! When you walk in, you might not immediately realize where you are! You can enjoy delicious and hearty meals in a colorful atmosphere reminiscent of the Soviet era, as the dumpling restaurant is located right inside the Museum of Soviet History. There’s lots of antique decor that makes adults reminisce and say, “Oh, I had one of those!” I’m giving it 4 stars because of the prices; in my opinion, about 20% of the cost is unnecessary.
