Bidrage med feedbackIn and out for stitches. The entire staff was awesome and the perming doctor was extremely informative. Much thanks to the entire team that assisted to me!
Nurses were shift changing so I get it but came in put hemlock in before doctor ordered took blood all un necessary in my opinion and rough as well I worked for integris ISMC and IBMC security 15 years and so I know a little how it works but damn 4 weeks prior went there for same reason no hemlock no blood drawn and that's okay too biggest thing was patience of nursing .This thing man ive been through automatic carwash that took longer than time initial assessment and automatic blood drawn and it was 5pm but same nurse had to hurry come in and this is the worst part take a culture from the wound on my Achilles tendon which seemed like was excessive . GOD bless her for her service as a nurse we need them of course but I'm not a robot machine a little patience would have taken no longerThan 15 min start to end with a lot more sensitivity Dr. Davis was great and ER did their job hope this helps and no I didn't ask or get pain meds so that's irrelevant hope nurse has a good weekend .Note : blood taken was still laying on roll around supply cart when I leftNot to be be gross : Apologies if the next part is offensiveIt's relevant so I have to mention itI wasn't even given flipping band aid for the 2 scratch on the back of my foot specifically my Achille tendon area(reason for visit now oozing blood from the culture swab pressin g by same initial nurse who did blood draw but some gauze or bandaid wouldn't have cost not costed integris as much as my bill gonna be im certain . In closing back to initial point trying to make how long would it have taken to put piece of gauze and simple wrap around my bleeding foot no more than 15 min I'm sure right pretty common sense and just procedure I'll bet as well J.Sosa former Cprl Sgt for Integris Safety Security from 1998-2013 ISMC, IBMC, AND INTEGRIS MENTAL HEALTH SPENCER ,OK (WILLOWVIEW .
When I arrived at the hospital the receptionist was amazing, she was kind and told me she thought the DLO sending me to the er was weird and I agreed. There was a nurse there that treated me like a burden when she saw me there because I was there that previous night and it felt like she didn 't want to take care of me because I was just there there before. She even stated well you look a lot better from past night why are you here? It was extremely uncomfortable. They drew my blood and when they left they left the blood on a table and it sat there with a syringe until after I left 3 hours later, when I asked the nurse what was happening she told me she 'd have my nurse come and answer the questions I had and he never showed back up until I was about to leave to take out my IV. I went up to the desk after about 2 hours to ask them again what was happening and what exactly was I waiting there for they said they wanted to do an ultrasound and I was glad I finally got an answer out of someone. My phone started to die and I asked if I could use a charger and they said they had one up at the nurses desk but I still needed to keep my ride updated and so I stood there for a minute they got upset when I got on the phone with my ride to tell her when I 'd be discharged since she was also babysitting for me. They told me to go back to my room and wait there and to use the phone they have in there because according to the very rude woman behind the counter I was listening in on other patients personal business and I told her ma 'am I 'm half deaf I can 't hear anything even if I tried she then said no I think you should just go back to your room or leave I said well what about the ultrasound and she said if you want that and not to be made to leave you need to go back to your room I have no problem discharging you it felt like she was discriminating against me because I 'm very hard of hearing and she didn 't want me talking on the phone at all. Where was I supposed to go without a charger? The nurse was letting me use hers at the nurses station the woman was so very rude almost to the point of yelling at me. I went to leave and that 's when they came to give me the ultrasound so I stayed for that and then was told I needed to wait for discharge papers but then my male nurse came back and told me to just leave. Now I don 't have the paperwork I need to check the ultrasound on my patients portal and see if there 's anything I need to be concerned about with my baby. This visit was horrible. And how dare they discriminate against me because I 'm half deaf. Because first I was listening in on other patients and then when I said I was over half deaf they said oh well you 're disrupting other patients by standing here so go back to your room or leave I won 't go back to this hospital, if that 's how the staff treats their patients I 'd rather not have my baby anywhere near or associated with this hospital.
Was made to hold my pee in a cup in the lobby infront of other people and I raise concern about my treatment the nurse stated I was non life threatening and didn’t need it and that if I wanted stronger meds I would need someone to pick me up, I did not want strong meds I just wanted my issue resolved, poor service to the extreme
The NP and staff was amazing, they did all the tests and gave great news about my issue. Great ER
