Rawlicious - York

Was my first time in raw restaurant. My family is vegetarian and we went for my birthday lunch. I was so pleased with the size of entre portions, they were really big and I would say nicely priced, like $16. Appetizers were all very good too. I was so full, didn't even finish my dish. Everything tasted great! Stuff was friendly and attentive. Very happy that we have such place up north.

I went with my cousin around noon for grabbing an early lunch. The place is very cosy and warm. We were greeted right away. Trevor who was serving us really made an effort to help us select our menu as it was our 1st time. The food was purely delicious and we will definitely be going back to try out more items from their menu.

This is a very laid back restaurant.2 Women were working here when we went on a Tues.We ordered a spring roll, burrito and pad Thai.The pad thai was missing some flavor for me.The other 2 were loaded with flavor and were well worth it.The only thing is that 2 of us shared these 3 things plus cheese cake.I was not full.I have to admit I felt like I ate healthy.Not a bad choice.

A raw foodist is someone who eats 75-100% live, nutritionally-dense organic uncooked and unprocessed food to alkinize one's system. I'm not a raw foodist but could easily become one after eating this delicious vegan food. The restaurant offers a shabby chic elegance in a former bank building complete with original decorative details in the plaster walls and ceiling. The great vibes from the serving staff indicates they all get along, and love what they do. The hot starter soup made from celery and ground pecans with lots of added spices hit the spot on a cold damp day. A highlight was the cheese"cake that was a dream of silky texture, and non-sweet but lemony flavour with a raspberry marbling on top, we shared one serving but wanted to buy a whole cake. We are making this our go-to stop for flavour, healthy eating and great ambiance.

It was pleasant surprise when my friend invited me to a brunch at this place. We had absolutely amazing corn soup; salad of the day and accompanied it rawlicious chips. Yum!
