The Pizza Place - Yonkers

I’m quite disappointed. I ordered a large cheesecake over the phone, expecting to have it ready for my 30-minute lunch break. However, when I arrived, I received a pepperoni pizza instead. I ended up waiting for most of my lunch break. To make matters worse, the pizza wasn’t good at all. It tasted like Ragu sauce and cheese—nothing authentic about it.

I recommend steering clear of this restaurant. I noticed some unsavory characters depicted on the walls, and to make matters worse, I found a hair in my meal. The pizza maker has long arm hair, and I saw the dough coming into contact with it. This place feels unclean and could leave you with an upset stomach! Definitely not worth the potential discomfort.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and I've had some of the best pizza in Yonkers here. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the service is surprisingly quick. I tried the pepperoni and barbecue slices; the pepperoni was the best classic New York-style slice I've had in Yonkers.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I noticed cockroaches on the walls and discovered a hair in my food. The person making the pizza has long arm hair and allows the dough to come into contact with his arms. This establishment is filthy and could potentially make you sick. It's not worth the stomach issues!
