Rudders Seafood Restaurant & Brew Pub

Drinks were the best part of our meal. We got the bacon wrapped scallops that were fine, but I cannot believe the lobster roll and the lobster poutine here- the worst I’ve had in all of nova scotia. The lobster is cut up in small chunks which is makes me think the lobster is not top quality, and is swimming in the cream sauce. The $24.99 lobster poutine is a joke, as it can be compared to a childs meal at other restaurants. The lobster roll comes on a dry, no name bun and is again, drowning in the sauce. IMO this place is a cash grab as its probably one of the few places open for dinner. I just expected better from a place that is known for their seafood. I really hate to leave bad reviews but when people spend hard earned money for food, and its mediocre at best, that’s a red flag for me.

This is probably my place to eat in Yarmouth never had a bad experience here and our meals in our July 2022 vacation were absolutely in place. The staff is great and has seating, whether inside or outside on the terrace, a lot of atmosphere. Very recommended.

Always enjoy food here! It was my sisters for the first time and she can't wait to go again! Good prices and great homemade dessert.

Went with friends and we all had the haddock, either fried or grilled. Was amazing. Fresh fresh and even offered malt vinegar! We will be back! Nice selection of beer as well

Had my very first fish cake. Very tasty. Staff was fun and friendly. Live music was great! Sadly, we missed out on the patio due to the weather earlier in the day.
