Nice meal at the boat and the train tonight. good size, delicious portions, suitable for a carnivore and a vegetarian. we look forward to trying the other options in the menu.

I had a lovely dinner there with my family (without children). The menu offered a great variety, including classic pub dishes. While the dessert selection was limited, I opted for a delicious Baileys micachino instead of the apple cake, which could have been a bit larger. I’ll definitely return, as it’s a true local gem—an authentic traditional pub, and there aren’t many of those left. The customer service was outstanding; the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. It was fabulous!

This is a cozy little pub with delicious food. Gill, the owner, was friendly and welcoming. Our group of eight received our meals quickly, and everyone enjoyed their dishes. I look forward to dining here again soon!

We recently decided to check out our local pub, which is now under new management (Gill and Dee). We tried the steak, which was cooked to perfection, as well as the lamb. We often visit the pub for drinks, and we can now also recommend it for dining. Thank you, Gill and Martin (the chef)!
