Bidrage med feedbackCheck out how awesome this guy is at the brewery. He was the reason I decided to visit, and he’s the reason I lingered. He truly represents the spirit of Redemption Rock. With his rock and roll attitude, he brings a sense of redemption to both himself and the brewery. The beer was excellent, and the hummus was delicious too. The vibe is really cool. Food: 5/5.
I'd already visited the real Redemption Rock earlier in the day (yelp.com/biz/redemption … so it was appropriate that I stopped by Redemption Rock Brewing too. They have a large tasting room just east of downtown Worcester that's packed almost every night of the week with performers or events like trivia. And while they don't appear to offer their own food, there are often guest vendors on site, and you can also bring your own.As for the beer, they don't offer flights, but they do sell half pours. A War Castle NEIPA and a Flowers Sour were alternatively complex, hazy, and tart, offering a nice level of refreshment after a day trip spent exploring Central Massachusetts and pairing nicely with some baklava I'd gotten earlier in the evening. Service at the bar was explanatory, patient, and also efficient even though there was a large line bearing down on me. Best of all: they even offer coffee and espresso drinks, which are perfect for those who want non alcoholic options, or for those who want to transition nicely away from booze before heading out. A lively venue, plenty of interesting beers, and even sober options to choose from what's not to love? I'm glad I stopped by!
Redemption Rock is unique, for sure! In a rad way? I'm torn. I had their sour and their seltzer and both were meh. The sour was very mild and the seltzer was, well, same. Dogs being allowed inside is meh. Cool for dog owners I suppose but I'm super allergic so kind of miserable for me. The woman behind the counter was KILLING IT! She was pleasant and quick and super good at multitasking. She was the sole person at the registers for quite a while during a Bonsai Bar event (lots of people) while the other was stuck making charcuterie boards and she just hit it out of the park.I love that what they are trying to do with the vibe I'm just not sure they got there. I wanted to love this place! There's nothing on the menu I, personally, can eat so that's tough but I'm used to this at breweries. Everything is very heavy and fattening. Lastly, I felt a little insulted at the sheer number of notes and labels telling you each and every little thing to do. It felt like they couldn't quite trust us to be adults in the world around us.
Enjoyed this new brewery. They held a women's business day. It was cool of them to support local businesses and the fact they were all women owned businesses was even better ! Nice setup here, place was packed. Decent beer selection , have some nice coffee drinks as well. Will definitely go back. Service is fast and friendly. Restrooms were clean. Dog friendly except for the fake grass area inside. Plenty of seating.
First time visiting this establishment and really enjoyed my time. They were having a special event Ladies Day Out for women owned businesses. So did some shopping then onto tasting their IPA. This place was really hopping with so many people enjoying everything the brewery had to offer. Definitely coming back!
