Tommy Bartlett Concessions

I had a wonderful time here when I was 12, and not much has changed except that now I've brought my own kids along. It's a shame that the Tommy Bartlett Land, Air, and Water Show is no longer around.

From the 6-year-olds to the 17-year-olds, even the parents had a fantastic time exploring and wandering through the Exploratory.

We had a fantastic time! We spent a couple of hours there and could have easily stayed longer if we weren’t on a schedule. The girls absolutely loved this place, and we will definitely be returning. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Thank you!

We enjoyed this experience, but mainly because we got free tickets from the hotel we were staying at, and because we went in April during the off-season. It would not be enjoyable if it was crowded.They had a ton of science experiments to try out. It was very hands on and interactive and there was something for everyone. Some of the information and technology is severely outdated, but it has a mom-n-pop feel to it. A few things were broken, not working, or missing pieces. Every exhibit has something to read that explains how to use it and what it all means. You can get through the place in an hour skimming through a lot or spend a few hours doing every single thing.It is a little difficult but not impossible to maneuver through with a stroller. I imagine it would be a nightmare if the place was crowded.The only staff we saw the entire visit was the person working the register in the gift shop.The gift shop was kind of disappointing. It has some souvenirs that advertised their summer attractions, but not much else. A lot of unbranded stuff you might buy with tickets at an arcade--the stuff kids desperately want you to buy for them. You go through it to get out, but you also go through there to pay at the beginning so I imagine it gets a little crowded at times.Overall, we had a good time and would recommend going if you can keep your expectations manageable.

This place is excellent for all ages! If you love science- this is the place for you. Very entertaining on a rainy day in the dells. We spent 2 hours having fun with a 3 and 5 year old! Great price for the clean and well run exploratory ??
