A few years ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Namibia and was in search of a quality cup of coffee, ideally a flat white. That's when I stumbled upon Slowtown on Independence Street, and I was thrilled to find a place that served an excellent brew. The service was friendly, and the ambiance of the café was delightful, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee was incredibly smooth and exactly what I needed. They offered a fantastic selection of espresso drinks for those who have their favorites. I was also impressed by the variety of coffee equipment and other items available for sale—it's always a good sign when a shop is dedicated to the craft of coffee.

This is likely the only spot in Windhoek that makes an effort to serve coffee with a touch of flair. However, the flavor could be better. The location is convenient in the CBD, featuring outdoor seating and a vibrant atmosphere.

The staff here is incredible and really quick, offering top-notch products to enjoy. I love the variety of drinks available. This place has a fantastic atmosphere. Keep up the great work!

First time in Namibia, Slowtown is a hidden gem (both in Walvis Bay and Windhoek), our default goto option for coffee. Excellent service, cozy vibe, great atmosphere and good food. The sandwiches were great, so were the pies! P.S. The unique Red Latte (Rooibos tea with honey and milk is a highlight too if you’re not a coffee person) Couldn’t recommend this enough!

Coffee taste good but not best. The house blend aroma was quite weak when paring with steamed milk. Sadly you cannot choose the beans for your coffee. Service is good, staff is very friendly
