Ze Windham Wine

I had never been to this part of Upstate New York before and wasn't expecting much. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, I knew the Catskills are known for being a ski destination. I was originally planning to visit a winery, but stumbled upon a wine bar instead. It turned out to be a fortunate discovery, as the other wineries required reservations and I didn't know anyone who had been to the wineries in the Catskills. The wine bar provided a more casual atmosphere where the staff were knowledgeable and engaged with their patrons, offering advice on different wines and brands. I ended up trying the Riesling, a delightful combination of sweet flavors with a touch of outdoor ambiance. The individual heated seating made me reconsider my opinion of wine bars, regardless of the weather outside.

We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation before attending a show. The outdoor seating area was gorgeous and inviting, with blankets and fire pits in each section. The wine selection was impressive and the cheese choices were all exceptional, with the Artigiano standing out in particular. After the rush died down, we had the pleasure of chatting with Cordelia, the sommelier, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel like old friends. We had such a great experience that we will definitely be returning in the future.

Cordelia is an amazing host and Ze Windham Wine Bar is a must-visit experience in town. We held a welcome event here and were incredibly impressed by the special night we had. Everything about this place is perfect - the wine, the food, the atmosphere - all done with care and class. The selection of goods from the boutique at The Windham Spa is delightful. I can't wait to bring my boyfriend here for a romantic night out. Thank you to Cordelia and her family for their hospitality!

Extensive wine list. The owner is so sweet and gives great recommendations. Warm and cozy atmosphere.. the fire pit area is very warm under the tent and each couch has multiple folded fuzzy blankets ready to use for additional comfort. We came in Decemberaround 5 pm. Wasn?t too crowded, could walk right in and sit down. The prices are very fair. We ordered 3 bottles of wine and awine tasting with a cheese board. There?s also craft beer and ciders available for those who don?t fancy wine. Overall a greatexperience- would recommend coming here to anyone! We will definitely be back.
