The Butcher Grill Wimbledon

We were out celebrating and we didn't come away disappointed! The staff looked after us well and the food was fabulous! I had the fish of the day which was beautiful and my boyfriend had steak which was melt into the mouth. The Prosecco that we ordered to start with was served very chilled which started our evening off well. Thank you to the staff for making our evening special.

Love the Butcher and Grill and sad to see it go from Wimbledon but we'll definitely be going to the Battersea restaurant

We have been to the Butcher and Grill a few times, as the steak is one of the best I have had. This time our starters were terrible (pheasant breast), steak was over cooked and chewy and the service, although not unpleasant, wasn't particularly good.

I had a fantastic filet steak, and the 50% discount on Tuesdays was a fantastic deal. The service we received from our waiter, Ilias, was exceptional and very friendly. It's a shame you've closed in Wimbledon, but I look forward to seeing you in Battersea! I'd also like to ask Richard something.

I visited the restaurant for the second time on Tuesday night, and I was pleased to find some cuts of meat offered at a 50% discount. I had a great experience during my first visit, so I was disappointed to learn it had to close due to high rent. I had high hopes for my second visit. Although it was quite busy that night, the waitstaff were still reasonably attentive. My partner ordered a rump steak with an extra 100g, and he was very pleased with his meal, while I had to send back my sirloin because it wasn't cooked to my request. They quickly took care of it, but it didn't cost much after all. Overall, I was disappointed with my meal. I hope that when they reopen at a new location, they will return to their previous high standards.
