Bidrage med feedbackFirst time ordering here. Called order in and the girl asked me if i wanted to pay with cash or credit. I asked can I pay when I get there and she said it’ll be ready in 15 minutes and literally hung up the phone.Checked the pizza to make sure the cheese has some color to it, but with the sausage on top, you can’t really judge it that way. But I felt it was rushed even tho it looked hot.By the time we got it home it was lukewarm at best. The sauce was nonexistent and couldn’t detect any flavor of it. I’ve had Pizza King in the past but this didn’t measure up.
I really do love this place. It hurt giving it only 4 stars. The food is 100% 10 stars imo. Being an Evansville Indiana native, I was beyond excited to find out there was a Pizza king up here. I order from these guys a lot, the staff is super cool. Polite and professional yet laid back about it. My only complaint is every time I order pizza, I order it pie cut , meaning triangles, and they have yet to ever cut it how I order. I will never complain to them or have them remake it because I worked in the industry for a long time and to be honest it 's not THAT big of a deal. It 's not like they are putting the wrong ingredients on it and it tastes the same..it just bums me out. I hate party cut pizza. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk
Every time we've had a Pizza , they've been Burnt .... Gave another chance tonight got Stromboli's tonight they were soggy cold ? Never again, Don't see how they've stayed in business ??
I used to always buy their Strombolis years ago at a different location in Franklin, In. on Jefferson St..I've bought a few at the Whiteland location their Stroms taste just like they used to years ago, absolutely scrumptious. Great food fair pricing I'll always get my strombolis or pizzas or subs here as I highly recommend it.
Really pretty disappointed in my experience this evening. Ordered a pizza at 6:25 and was advised it would be ready for pick up in 40 minutes, but then was called 30 minutes later and advised it was not going to be ready and should be another 30-40 minutes with delivery. I called to check on the delivery at 8:30pm because it had been 2 hours and they stated it was out for delivery. I understand issues arise, but when I asked if the manager or owner was aware that I had placed my order at 6:25pm, the question back to me was “well, what do you want me to do?” Again, I get issues arise, but simple customer service etiquette dictates you should jump on the call and apologize for the convenience and ask how they can make it right. I would’ve assumed a company that had recently asked for the community to rally behind them and help them stay in business would have used this poor experience to ensure they didn’t lose a customer, but that unfortunately wasn’t the case.
